Baku. Nijat Mutafayev. APA-ECONOMICS. Today, a presentation of National Centre for Digital Certification was held in Baku by the support of Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies and organizing of Microsoft Azerbaijan, Ultra and Azerin Companies.

According to APA-ECONOMICS, Deputy Minister CIT Elmir Valizadeh informed about e-signature and noted that the works on application of e-signature system in the country has been started since 2004. State budget granted means in 2008 and Microsoft, Ultra and Azerin Companies were winner of tender on application of this system in the country. Pilot project on e-signature was started to be implemented in 2009.

Minister of CIT Ali Abbasov spoke about the development of ICT and noted that the growth of income on this sphere made 30-35% during past 7 years: “If we can save the 25% of incomes, ICT’s income will be equal to oil incomes in 2022”.

He also noted that, e-signature would be presented to the society after some months: “This system will support development of many spheres in economy”.

Head of General Taxes Department of Ministry of Taxes Zaur Fatizade spoke about the application and use of e-services in the country. He noted that, the Ministry had received 1.5 mln e-Bill Account, this meant saving of 20 tons of paper and 0.5 ha forest.
