Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. From today, Azerbaijan has started the application of electronic signature (e-signature), deputy minister of communications and information technologies Iltimas Mammadov said.

He noted that the application of e-signature would allow full use of e-services in the country and eliminate bureaucratic obstacles.

Noting that several state organizations have already started to apply e-services, deputy minister said some organizations did not have e-service or just internet: “They must intensify works for eliminating of this problem. That is, government will conduct discussion on it in September-October. That is why each organization must apply these services”.

Mammadov also spoke about the prices of e-signature: “For using e-signature, the individuals must address branches of post offices and obtain an appropriate card or equipment, pay AZN 14 per a year, AZN 88 for the next year and less for the third year. This indicator is higher in the neighboring countries. These tariffs will be on force until September 15, thereafter a decision will be made depending on need. For legal entities the price for one year will be AZN 60, people working at state bodies AZN 135 for 3 years. Cards for once or for more times will be considered in future. The cards will be in force for 3 years”.
